The April 30 property tax payment deadline is fast approaching, at which time taxpayers need to have the first half or full payment into the Pierce County Assessor-Treasurer or Finance offices. The deadline does not apply to property owners who pay their taxes through a mortgage lender.
“We encourage taxpayers to get their taxes in well before April 30 to be sure payments are processed by the deadline,” said Marty Campbell, Pierce County’s Assessor-Treasurer. “Our customer service team takes pride in the fast and efficient work they do, and they’re ready to help in case people have questions.”
