The Pierce County Arts Commission (PCAC) is calling on local artists to add their creativity across unincorporated Pierce County. Applications are now open to wrap traffic signal boxes in original artwork, turning everyday intersections into vibrant community landmarks.

Whether you’re a hobbyist or a seasoned professional, this program welcomes artists of all levels and styles. To apply, you must be 18 or older and a Pierce County resident. Selected artists will be awarded $500 per box design which includes licensing rights that will enable the PCAC to reproduce the final design on multiple traffic signal and/or utility boxes throughout the County. Artists may submit one application with up to three designs.
