This cabin, built by the daughter of a Hudson’s bay Employee and her husband was dismantled from its original lot and moved tothis location ont he Mountain Highway. i had the pleasure of looking over the building last week and noted that the oversided red bricks that are on all that period’s buildings are also ont his cabin’s firepalce. Roadway changes on 176th Street in Spanaway.
Pierce County is widening 176th Street to five lanes. The current work is between 14th Avenue and Waller Road. Traffic dring the daytime is affected and you may have to wait longer than expected to reach your destination. If you know alternate routes, you might want to take them.
