Here are a few photos from the Franklin Pierce District Princess Bowl. The event on March 1 was a fund-raiser for the district’s Daffodil Festival float and participation. It appeared to be very well attended, a raucous and fun night for everyone. The girls were on the field playing flag football while the guys were acting as a rather uncontrolled cheerleading unit dressed in, well, apparently whatever silly thing they could come up with in the case of the Patriot guys. The Franklin Pierce cheering squad was a bit more consistent. But all in all, they were hilarious to watch and extremely distracting from the game way out there in the field.

In the end, the score was 23 to 20 in Franklin Pierce’s favor. But actually, this event was a winner for all.
