On September 1 at Kelly’s Kafé in Spanaway at 163rd & Pacific Ave., volunteers will be out washing cars to raise money. The funds are used to print flyers and other expenses associated with raising awareness of Chris’ case. The Virdell family is trying to reach out int he community to find people who may have seen him or know what might have happened.

The car wash is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Virdell was last seen at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday February 9th, 2012, as he left a friend’s residence on 223rd St. E. in Spanaway to catch a bus to work.
