[Editor Note: I met Carol Jack at the Bethel Community Open Market. As a former School Board member, I believe in helping any way possible to keep our kids safe. This new product has a great deal of potential toward that purpose.]
As a parent of two teenagers I am always looking for ways to keep my kids alert and safe. I have presented UBNAPP’d to many schools, clubs and organizations in our area. They are very interested in this, the potential it has to stop bullying in schools, as well as keeping our kids safe! Particulars on the App are:
- It is designed to help deter a crime for a person in a compromising situation (being followed while walking home, bullied, harassed, waiting alone in an isolated area, etc.)
- The person presses the APP button on their SMARTPHONE desktop and it immediately starts a video recording of the incident
- The video & audio are sent directly to the cloud storage where it stays on file for 30 days (longer if needed for court)
- A message will then come up for the person to enter their 4 digit security pin
- If they DO NOT enter their pin, then their emergency contacts are notified immediately
- Emergency contacts will be able to view the video and have a GPS location of the person
- If they enter their pin, the recording stops and their emergency contacts are NOT notified
- Cost is very low – around $2.49 per month/ $29.99 per year
- UBNAPP’d is a socially conscious company as we give back 10% to charities – that our customers choose
- For fundraising and scholarship opportunities, Clubs and Schools will gets $1 for every App sold
As I stated, I have met with many groups in our area and the response has been great! Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you.
