SPANAWAY, WA — The Pierce Prairie Post began operations, collecting news in your local communities, in August 2012. In the next day or two, we will reach an amazing goal… 100,000 clicks. In 17 months, we have been able to add news feeds for the Summit Waller, Frederickson and Parkland community websites and keep the local news available to people in the Franklin Pierce and Bethel School District areas.
We at the Post hope to continue to bring you interesting history stories of the area, news and human interest stories. One of our columnists currently has a fascinating story on some local waterfalls that will be out soon.
If you love what you see here, remember that we are a non-profit organization and have charitable status. So contributions made to us are tax-deductible. There are no paid employees, but we do need to pay expenses from time to time to keep up the site and domain name and to get to the places we need to go to cover your stories. There is a donate button on the right hand side of the page that can take credit cards through PayPal for those willing to support our work.
We at the Post wish you all a Merry Christmas season and look forward to hitting the 100,000th click in the next day or two!
