Brookdale Elementary School in Parkland is in the middle of a fund-raising and garden-building frenzy. Repairs have been needed to dilapidated garden boxes for years, and during mid-winter break an improved garden was installed with hours of volunteer labor. But we’re not done yet! Fundraising is still needed to close the gap of last minute materials, and a Garden Club is still forming to add to the educational opportunities of the site.
