Dr. Donald Ryan, special assistant to Thor Heyerdahl in his latter years and adjunct faculty at PLU, has organized a special lecture series to explore the ongoing legacy of Thor Heyerdahl’s research. This year’s inaugural lecture is titled “In Kon Tiki’s Wake” and looks at various global sailing re-enactments. The lecture is given by Dr. Peter Capelotti, Professor of Anthropology at Penn State.
