Disabilities Easter Egg Hunt – March 31

Lions EEH 2018

[Updated with photos]

The Prairie House Museum in Spanaway is the location of the annual Easter Egg Hunt for children with Disabilities. This event is hosted by the Spanaway Lions Club and will take place at 10am on March 31st.

The Prairie House Museum is location at 812 176th St East, Spanaway.

From the Lions website:

“Every kid loves an Easter Egg Hunt but some need more help than others to get around and find those eggs. The Spanaway Lions Club’s goal is to provide a safe and mobility friendly environment where kids can be kids and hunt Easter Eggs. The Prairie House museum provides a nice area that is wheelchair/walker friendly for them to join in the fun.

Easter BunnySiblings (ages 5-12) are welcome to come and join their brothers and sisters in the festivities.

We try to have our Lions Club Easter Bunny there to greet the kids, hand out goodies and take pictures.

The Prairie House Museum is just west of Fir Lane Memorial Park and Funeral Home. This year, due to construction, we will only have the main gate for the Prairie House open. This gate is at the far west end of the property. You will reach the gate just before the sign going east on 176th St E. (At this time the road from Fir Lane’s parking lot to the Prairie House is not open due to ongoing construction)”
