Frederickson and PSM (Parkland Spanaway Midland) community plan update open houses and hearings will be held this next two weeks. This is in regard to the Centers and Corridors Proposal changes. One hour before the hearings in front of the Land Use Advisory Committee (LUAC), there is an open house where attendees can peruse the charts, graphs and other and chat with county planning representatives.
Citizens need to attend the first one, the second is only for a continuation of testimony from the first.
This is your chance to comment and ask for any revisions in the specifics of the plan including zoning, roads and other infrastructure. Mid-County requested a lower density in one of their areas and are saying on-line that their LUAC agreed.
There is always hope if you come and speak out at this very important community plan change meeting. This proposal is going to significantly change how these communities are built out in the near future.
