Graham Vendor Opportunity at EXPO

The Graham-Kapowsin Community Council’s (GKCC) 17th annual fundraiser, Graham Home & Garden EXPO is Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10-4 pm at Frontier Park Lodge (21718 Meridian E, Graham, WA). We are looking for vendors, shoppers, fun run/walk participants, and sponsors to help raise money for this worthwhile cause.GKCC Logo

All of the money raised for this event goes right back into the ‘Feed the Children’ program so power packs can be filled with food. We are committed to ensuring access to nutritious food for the food-insecure school-aged kids over the weekend and during the holiday/summer seasons. In the month of December alone, Cedar Springs’ Harvest House was able to feed 409 families (2,991 people) and send 825 Power Packs home from school with kids who otherwise might have little to eat over the weekend. G-KCC’s Free Food Friday at St. Paul’s Church continued to serve through the summer and during school vacations, when children receiving free lunch through the school system would be missing a key meal.

G-KCC fills the gap for many non-profits making a difference in our South Pierce County community. Like many other communities, we struggle with homelessness, the fight against opioid abuse, and an aging population. With the help of organizations like Safe Streets and by holding job fairs, we are making strides.

We hope you will be able to participate in our upcoming fundraiser event on March 7, 2020 to support ‘Feed the Children’ Program. Thank you for all that you do and we look forward to hearing from you.

Carol Wright is the CEO of G-KCC.org, which is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization. She is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about any of the GKCC Programs. Please feel free to call at 253-279-3071 if you want to discuss this project further!

G-KCC’s Vision is to enhance and enrich the greater Graham area by engaging the community through education, activities and programs that foster self-esteem, self-reliance and empowerment. By developing these paths, our neighbors will be enabled to make positive choices through individualized attention, motivation and guidance. GKCC is dedicated to building a strong, united, diverse economic cultural and social environment.
