Spanaway Park – FANTASY LIGHTS

Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park is the largest holiday drive-through display in the Northwest, featuring nearly 300 elaborate displays and thousands of sparkling lights. The beautiful two-mile drive along Spanaway Lake has become a memorable lakeside tradition for the entire family.

We are more excited than ever before to offer this holiday tradition to our community.  The impact of Covid-19 has affected so many families and our ability to celebrate and connect with those closest to us.  We hope this year’s Fantasy Lights event will be a time to connect and reflect on how we’ve continued to be better, together.  This event provides the best in physical distancing, and our staff have added additional safety measures to keep you and our staff safer throughout your visit.  

Visitors of all ages will be treated to the magical world of animation and imagination where bears fly kites, Santa and Rudolph sail a tall ship, snow boys kick field goals, penguins slide down an igloo, and reindeer leap over your car. You will also marvel at the LED lighting throughout the park as it is transformed into a sparkling wonderland with a new display added each year. Be on the lookout this year for our new vibrant velociraptor dinosaur.

As you drive, dial your car radio to AM 1700 to listen to a selection of special holiday music to add to the festive atmosphere of the park. Fantasy Lights will start on November 21, the Saturday before Thanksgiving this year and be extended through January 3! 

Fantasy Lights will operate every night including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Since this is a very popular event, please expect up to two hours to enter the park on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, with longer lines anticipated the week prior to Christmas through December 25. 

Enjoy Fantasy Lights Mondays through Thursdays for a more relaxed experience.

General Admission Rates

General admission charged per vehicle at the gate:

• $15 per vehicle /mini-bus (up to 24 passengers)
  • Nov. 21-29, Dec. 6-10, Dec. 13-17
• $20 per vehicle/mini bus (up to 24 passengers) 
  • Dec. 4-5, Dec. 11-12, Dec.18-27 
• $45 for each bus (25 or more passenger)
  Discount admissions are not valid with buses.

• Online Discount Tickets:
  • Save $3 on general vehicle admission when purchasing tickets online for a small convenience fee.
• $10/vehicle Discount Nights:
  • November 30 – December 3
  • December 28, 2020 – January 3, 2021
  • $10 at the gate or purchase online for a small convenience fee.
