Sheriff, Auditor and Prosecutor office charter amendments are critical changes, but are they a good idea?

The Pierce County Council voted Tuesday to place before the voters of Pierce County changes to the Charter to make the Auditor and Sheriff appointed by the County Executive. Several other changes also take decision making out of the hand of the voters.

Since these will be on the ballot, the Pierce Prairie Post can only inform you of this and you can draw your own conclusions.
