From Pierce County Planning and Public Works:
C Street South between Tule Lake Road and 128th Street to close Aug. 29

Work on C Street South between Tule Lake Road and 128th Street South (Section B) will resume on Monday, Aug. 29.
 
The contractor working for Pierce County on the Parkland/Brookdale Sewer Interceptor Phase 3 project suspended work for Section B last month due to supply chain issues.
 
This section of C Street South is scheduled to be closed through Monday, Sept. 26.
 
While the road will be closed for through traffic, access for local traffic and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Work hours consist of six 10-hour days per week, Monday through Saturday. There will be no work on observed holidays and Saturdays before a holiday (e.g., crews will not work on Saturday, Sept. 3, and Monday, Sept. 5, in observance of Labor Day).
