If you are imagining a startup business in Pierce County, you may want to apply to the PCBA.

“The Pierce County Business Accelerator will serve entrepreneurs and business owners throughout Pierce County with a focus on BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) veteran, and women-owned businesses to help foster innovation and create wealth-building opportunities.”

THE ACCELERATOR WILL PROVIDE direct access to business resources including:

  • Relevant Training
  • Coaching
  • Technical Assistance
  • Networking Support

to launch and grow micro businesses in Pierce County.”

The pandemic and the adverse impacts on underserved communities in Pierce County caused the Pierce County Council to allocate American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to launch the Pierce County Business Accelerator. The program is administered by the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber and will serve entrepreneurs and business owners throughout Pierce County with a focus on underserved communities. (Ok South unincorporated county, this is you!)

Providing direct access to business resources, the PCBA will host relevant training, coaching, technical assistance, and networking support. Launch and grow your micro businesses in Pierce County!
