The Pierce Prairie Post is moving. Starting in July, we will have a new location. Oh, wait, Marianne works from home, not at a business location. She actually comes out to report at your events!
Actually, the PPP and Marianne are looking for a new place to live and do business that is more affordable. It’s a tough call, Over the past three or four years, rent and housing has become a real problem in Pierce County, Washington State, all over the USA for that matter. To all the fixed income seniors and disabled out there, we understand your plight.
The PPP doesn’t charge you to read. We are part of the Spanaway Community Association 501c3 and only take donations. That means we mostly operate on Marianne’s Social Security. Occasionally we have written articles for donations to feature a local business. That option is still out there, if anyone is interested.
So, in July, if you happen to know of a great opportunity for the PPP’s new location, pleas private message Marianne with the details. Preferably, the location will not have ignorant people who play loud music and party into the wee hours of the night like this one. An ADU on Spanaway Lake would be lovely. Anything except an old folks home. Definitely not ready for that. Too much spunk and vinegar still left here.
Enjoy the long days of mid-summer while they last.
