You may have seen them taking shape as you drive up (or down) the hill on Pacific Avenue at 166th Street. The murals are a joint community projected, headed up by Blue Zones of Parkland Spanaway (BZoPS).
BZoPS is a health and wellness project Pierce County, MultiCare, and Franciscan Health brought to the area to help encourage better living habits, healthy eating, community involvement, and longer lives to Parkland Spanaway.
The murals are almost complete and a ribbon cutting event is planned for 8:00 a.m. on July 1, 2026. Watch for it on your morning commute!
