April 29 County hearing on wildlife grants

This is notice of the Rules and Operations Committee and final Council hearings on Proposal No. R2014-50. A Resolution of the Pierce County Council Authorizing the Pierce County Executive to Submit Applications for Grant Funding Assistance for Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program Projects to the Recreation and Conservation Office as Provided in Chapter 79A.15 RCW, Acquisition of Habitat Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Lands; Title 286 WAC and Subsequent Legislative Action.

The Final Council hearing on this proposal is set for April 29, 2014, at 3:00 pm. The final Council hearing will be held in Room 1045, 10th Floor, County-City Building, 930 Tacoma Ave S, in Tacoma. The Rules and Operations Committee hearing is set for April 28, 2014, at 10:00 am.   1. Today, I went tо the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old
    daughter andd said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She
    put the shell to her ear and screamed. There wɑs a hermit crab inside and
    it pinched her ear. She never wants to ցo back!
    LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I hadd to tell someone!

    1. And you used this as a learning opportunity to explain that shells are houses for sea creatures…? And that television advertising is sometimes misleading? Time to go back, but with a book on the sea.
