Today, I went tо the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old
daughter andd said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She
put the shell to her ear and screamed. There wɑs a hermit crab inside and
it pinched her ear. She never wants to ցo back!
LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I hadd to tell someone!
And you used this as a learning opportunity to explain that shells are houses for sea creatures…? And that television advertising is sometimes misleading? Time to go back, but with a book on the sea.
