Father’s Cruise-In & BBQ at Marymount

(June 14-15)

Celebrate Father’s Day the way he wants next weekend… Bring your dad out to the LeMay Collection at Marymount and show him how special he is! We can’t think of anything better than bringing him out to see some cool cars and motorcycles at Marymount! Dads get to tour the LeMay Collection for only $5.00 each ($10 off general admission pricing) on Father’s Day weekend, and we’ll have special extended hours on Sunday (open 9am-5pm).

You can even have a BBQ picnic lunch on Father’s Day at Marymount – we’ll have picnic tables and benches available on the lawn, and Gravedigger’s BBQ will be serving up some of their specialties (yum!). We’ll have special parking area on the lawn reserved for collector cars and motorcycles, so…cruise in to Marymount on Father’s Day and show your dad some love!

June 9-15 – Indoor Exhibit, Cruise-In + AHRMA Vintage Trials Course!

YOUR week to make a pilgrimage to Marymount to check out this special exhibit is here! This week is all about motorcycling, and we have an

special exhibit/indoor display of more than 200 vintage motorcycles, plus a special display from the PNW Museum of Motorcycling, and NEW this year is an AHRMA-sanctioned  vintage motorcycle observed trials course open to spectators on SATURDAY! (Visitors will be able to watch riders on vintage motorcycles compete on a course – this is ONE of just TWO vintage trials-only events in the nation! (Generally, trials are held in conjunction with motorcross or other events) Marymount Motorcycle Week is held during the week of Father’s Day, and we know that you will want to bring your dad out for this fun event, so make plans to be here!

Lucky Collector Car Auction – Spring Classic


There were truly some lucky buyers last weekend! And we are STILL selling cars! (some vehicles that did not initially meet their reserves, initially as the crossed the block) For those of you might have missed the most recent Spring Classic Lucky Collector Car Auction, we will be posting the auction results here and there will be another chance to “get Lucky” on August 30-31 at the Lucky Auction Fall Classic held in conjunction with our 37th Annual LeMay Car Show!

Auction Highlights:

*Nearly $1 million in gross sales at the auction

*75% sell-through rate for consignors

*1967 Maserati Mistral that had been parked in Kitsap County, WA since 1978 was sold after exciting bidding for $99,000! This project car came with the original engine, and we believe it has set a world record for a 67 Maserati project car. It’s exciting for our regional auction here in the Tacoma area.

Next Auction Start Times:

August 30th – 10:30am (100 lots)

August 31st – 10:30am (100 lots)

The auction will be two full days, starting on Saturday morning with the gates opening at 9am on each day. This will be followed by a full day on Sunday of auction vehicles. You can register as a bidder when you arrive, or you can even use Proxibid and bid from home – it’s easy! We are currently accepting consignments, too, so consign a vehicle, if you are looking to sell!
