Independence Day events

First the parades…

Eatonville at noon. There is a fee to be in the parade, but watching is free. Lots of candy will be thrown. Prediction, kids with sugar overloads.DSC_2800

Roy, at noon. This parade is open to all comers. Want to be in a parade? Show up in Roy near the fairgrounds at 11 a.m. Watching is also free. There is a potluck at the Roy City Park afterward. Small towns rock on Independence Day.

[Editor’s note. Last year’s Roy parade was the highlight of my entire year! Or possibly the past 15]
