Project Homeless Connect – cold weather is arriving

Community and School Leaders:

As the weather turns to colder nights, we are reminded of those families and individuals in our community who are either homeless or lacking basic resources. I am hoping you can forward the attached flyers for these 2 events to all of your contacts who might be in need of resources or interested in volunteering or otherwise lending support to this great cause.

As for the Bethel School District, this will be our third year to host Project Homeless Connect. This year we will host Homeless Youth Prevention and Empowerment (H.Y.P.E.D), the first youth event of its kind in Washington State and possibly in the United States. We appreciate Alanna and her team from South Sound Outreach for making this possible. In the near future we will provide more details on this event.

Thank you! Jay Brower
