On Saturday May 14, 2016, from 9 am to 11 am, members of the Spanaway Kiwanis will do their annual cemetery cleanup at the historic Spanaway Cemetery on 176th & A Street.

If you would like to help out, bring a good pair of gardening gloves. The members will have tools and lawnmowers there. You can help cut, chop rake and scoop up the excess foliage. you will also meet members of a great group of long time community servants.

The Parkland Spanaway Kiwanis Club meets on Thursdays at noon, currently at the Paradise Bowling Alley. Their next meeting will be on May 19 and the speaker will be the editor of the Pierce Prairie Post talking about the great diversity of content in this community blog and how groups can leverage that to get the word out about their activities..
