BusBulletin to notify parents of bus delays

Franklin Pierce School District – Would you like to know when your child’s bus is going to be late or what is happening? The Transportation Department for Franklin Pierce Schools is now using BusBulletin, a notification system to notify parents and school staff when there are bus delays and emergency information.

All Franklin Pierce schools are now included within the BusBulletin system. Each school route, of which there are many, have been given an identifying code so that you will receive an alert for just your child’s route. For example, if your child attends Midland Elementary School, and rides bus route 30, you would sign up for MD30. If you had a child riding the bus to Washington High School on route 20, and a younger child going to Keithley on that same bus, you would sign up for WHS20 and KMS20. Then, if there are significant delays or there is an accident, we will notify all families who signed up for those routes.

By the end of the first full day of registrations, we had 93 families signed up. I am hoping that all 4,000+ families sign up! Everyone whose child(ren) ride the bus should consider signing up online. If you would like to receive instant notifications when delays or incidents affect your child’s bus, please register with BusBulletin. It is easy!
