Local Memorial Day Events:

Fir Lane Memorial Park, 924 176th St E, Spanaway will have events in honor of Memorial Day. On Saturday the 28th, at 9:30am the public is welcome to assist as they put out the flags and crosses on graves. On Sunday the 29th at 1pm, there will be a program for the public with a parade of flags, speeches, a band and special displays. This event is very family friendly.

Bethany Lutheran Church, Spanaway will host a service on May 30, 2016 with a Flag and Firing Detail from JBLM and keynote speaker, Major Jay Cash.  The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Church Cemetery, 26418 Mountain Highway (SR7), Spanaway WA, 98387-9404.
