Great news Spanaway – we’re bringing more public art to the community and there are multiple opportunities for you to help install a new mural along Pacific Avenue!

We are proud to announce that Mary Mann has been selected as our leading artist for the Spanaway Roots Run Deep mural projects and we’ll be kicking off the mural installation process this month.

Over the course of 2 weeks, community members will have the opportunity to contribute to a large mural project that will be installed near 143rd on Pacific Ave. During our selected community paint days days, Mary will be working with volunteers to prepare, prime and paint beautiful a mural that was designed specifically for the Spanaway community (inspired by the Spanaway Roots Run Deep campaign).

We are looking for 12-15 volunteers to join us on Sunday, September 13th! Want to leave your mark on the new Spanaway mural? Make sure you sign-up to volunteer here!
