Tractor pull at Wilcox Farms a big event
The Rainier 2 Cylinder Club held it’s “Down on the Farm” event at Wilcox Family Farms this weekend. The events included a tractor pull and show. There was food and thankfully, ice cream since the temperature soared to near 90 degrees. There were farm tours, hay rides and a children’s ride. Here are some highlights.
Yelm Farmers Market
The Yelm Farmer’s Market takes place on Sundays from 9am to 2 p.m. It is on the west side of the Nisqually River from McKenna, before Stewart’s Meats, on the entrance to Schorno Farms. The market will run on Sundays from June 9 to October 2013. Vendor applications are available here.
