PARKLAND, WA — The auditorium at Washington High School was lit up by the beauty of the five young ladies vying for the 2014 Daffodil Princess title. Each of the five contestants gave remarkable speeches, then each
answered an impromptu question. The judges were left with the difficult task of choosing just one.
When the judges returned, the outgoing Princess gave her speech, specifically honoring her mother at the end, the mother that praised the festival, but also tended to the exhausted princess at the end of each day.
The choice was KayLee Wiest. She will join Franklin Pierce High School’s Kasey Temple in the Royal Court.

Franklin Pierce’s Princess is actually named Kasey Temple! 🙂
Thank you Kasey. I corrected the article! … and congratulations 🙂
Thank you very much! 🙂
