The LeMay Car Show is definitely a unique event. Over 500 vintage vehicles from the LeMay Family Collection are on view at Marymount, plus hundreds more at the LeMay home grounds, and local owners of vintage cars bring their vehicles for display on the Marymount show fields. Lots to see!

Come out to enjoy some vintage cars!

If you have never attended the LeMay Car Show, it is one heck of a car day! It’s a TWO location car show, which means that it’s the ONE day a year that in addition to the LeMay Collections at Marymount, Nancy LeMay and her family open their LeMay homestead property in Spanaway for the general public to come gawk and walk through. In addition to the vintage vehicles, there are special displays of dolls, antiques, a General Store & Soda Fountain Room and all sorts of Americana.

At Marymount at the LeMay Car Show, collector car owners are invited to bring their vehicles to display on the show fields (parking is first-come, first-serve, no need to pre-register). You’ll see a great display of vintage Teardrop Trailers , and there’s a Car Club Corral for other car clubs to display their vehicles, and there is even an automotive swap meet and a vintage vehicle auction! New this year is even a sneak peek in one of the rooms of the LeMay Marymount Automotive Library, as well as our new Radio Room display.

The feature of the car show is a 1940 Mercury 4-Door Convertible – it’s a restoration project undertaken by Tom Towers and his team of volunteers at our LeMay Restoration Shop, and it is truly a show-stopper. The transformation of this project is just amazing, and their meticulous attention to detail is unsurpassed. You’ll see this 1940 Mercury set up in our Marymount Gymnasium along with a special display – a whole room full of other 4-door convertibles!

Visitors will even get a chance to see automotive artists and pinstripers (“Masters of the Brush”) in action -where several automotive artists will be showcasing their automotive art, and they’ll be drawing for kids!

All in all, you won’t want to miss the LeMay Car Show!
