A trolley car inside the building was the first clue something special was about to happen under the Pacific Plaza parking garage. A new Old Spaghetti Factory has been carefully crafted with bits of memorabilia from the site on Jefferson and new, beautiful treatments unique to this new location.

As I paused to photograph the building from the foyer, the company executive, Dean Griffith, proudly invited me inside for a peek. The tables are now set, the crew is being trained and they are ready to invite guests to dine on all the favorites from meatballs to Mizithra, garlic bread and spumoni.

January 22, 2016 the Old Spaghetti Factory will open for lunch and dinner at 1255 Pacific Avenue, across from the Wells Fargo Building in Pacific Plaza. It’s no longer just garage sale kitsch; this site has a touch of class you will surely enjoy.
