Greetings Lake Kapowsin Community,
In response to the feedback we received from the community at the April 23 public meeting, the Department of Natural Resources is holding workshops on June 8th and 29th to discuss the proposed aquatic reserve. The workshops are also an opportunity for local residents to share ideas about how to build a community partnership for Lake Kapowsin, and ensure local voices are part of the plan. Please come and participate in the workshops with your friends, and neighbors and DNR staff. Please see attached fact sheet with a summary of the plan highlights.
The draft management plan will also be available on the DNR Aquatic Reserve webpage starting on May 20, 2016.
