The Pierce County Council has fireworks law changes on its agenda for July 5, 2016. The law requires the changes be made a year in advance. They are changing the dates the legal fireworks are allowed to be sold and the times they are legal to discharge.

June 28 beginning at 12 NOON until 11:00 PM
June 29 thru July 3 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
July 4 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
July 5 – 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM

When can fireworks be discharged in Unincorporated Pierce County?
June 28 beginning at noon until 11:00 PM
June 29 thru July 3 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
July 4 – 9:00 AM to 12 MIDNIGHT
July 5 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
