SPANAWAY, WA — Update on the demolition of the previous version of Spanaway Elementary School. The district planned the school’s sport fields on this end of the lot, but delayed the process when Franklin Pierce needed to rent the space for a couple years for their Early Childhood Learning Program. That program is not housed in the remodeled building that used to be the Parkland Methodist Church. The remodel is a stunning creation scaled for wee people.
