BETHEL SCHOOL DISTRICT — The Bethel Education Association and the Bethel School District have reached a contract agreement. Classes will start Sept. 1.

Members of the teachers’ union, the Bethel Education Association, have ratified their contract. Monday evening, they voted 93% in favor of a new agreement. This new contract covers the next three school years. It recognizes the hard work of the BEA staff and their dedication to the children of our community. 

BEA’s approval means that 2016/17 school year will begin on time. Classes start Sept. 1.

The Board of Directors will approve the new contract at their regular meeting on Sept. 13.
