Monday, October 19, at 1:30 p.m., the Community Development Committee of the Pierce County Council attempted to get through all the last minute amendments, but due to some diligent community members making comments, they did not get through the entire agenda for the Zoning changes for Centers and Corridors. Community members vocalized how much would love to slow down this train and read through the revisions, but the County Council wants to vote on the Centers and Corridors Zoning Plan changes before the general election changes the composition of the Council.

The Committee voted to continue the hearing to 2:30 p.m. after the special Council Meeting (Committee of the Whole) that day. Here is the full Council Calendar link.

Final passage for the four community plan changes for Centers and Corridors is slated for October 27, 3 p.m. by remote Council Meeting.
